The use of Adapter Centering Rings is simple:
One side of the ring is NW32 and the other NW40.
By using this centering, you CONVERT a
NW32 flange size to a NW40 Flange

Uses NW40 Series Clamps

NW, KF, QF Series High Vacuum Flanges

NW32 (KF32) OD: 2.18" – Centering Ring Counter Bore: 1.34"

NW40 (KF40) OD: 2.18" – Centering Ring Counter Bore: 1.62"

NW32 Flanges Are Sometimes Used Overseas (Uncommon)

NW32 (KF32) vacuum flange size is not popular in the US,
but may be necessary to use US flanges.
